These are four audio clips of memorable and/or interesting baseball items from the '40s and '50s. They include Ted Williams' homer to win the 1941 All-Star Game, Bobby Thomson's homer heard round the world to win the 1951 pennant for the New York Giants, the end of Harvey Haddix's 1957 start in which he threw 12 perfect innings, and Connie Mack speaking about major league baseball during World War Two.
